Artists Hani Alqam and Reem Mouasher both grew up in Amman. Although their experiences of Jordan are completely different, they both paint from a profoundly personal, deeply heartfelt vantage point. They come together in their highly observant and truly authentic love for and appreciation of the country's landscapes, cityscapes and people. While each artist creates their own personal version of places, both as they are experienced and imagined, each of their collections validates and enriches the other.
In the context of the 9th edition of the Image Festival Amman, entitled “Filastine,” Nabad is exhibiting photographs by Muhammed Asaad (Palestine), Mohamed Badarne (Palestine), Salem Bouchagour (Algeria) and Bashar Tabbah (Jordan).
