On Sunday 23 September 2012 at 6:30 pm, under the patronage of HRH Princess Alia Tawfiq Tabbaa, Nabad opens the third edition in a series of annual exhibitions dedicated to promoting design, a relatively new but fast-growing art genre in Jordan. “Trendsetting III” brings together eleven Jordanian artists to exhibit an innovative collection of uniquely designed decorative and functional items, in addition to a number of artworks.

Beginning on Sunday 15 July 2012, Nabad presents its Summer 2012 event, featuring Nabad's "Floor to Ceiling II" exhibition, and the launch of Nabad's Design Salon, a special space at Nabad dedicated to promoting uniquely designed items by talented artists and designers. In 2010, Nabad started "Trendsetting," a series of annual exhibitions dedicated to promoting design. Our Design Salon supports and continues this concept.

Under the patronage of HRH Princess Rahma bint El Hassan, Nabad presents an exhibition of paintings by Jordanian architect and self-taught multidisciplinary visual artist, Dina Haddadin, on Wednesday 2 May at 6:30 pm. The artist uses both traditional and experimental techniques, including installation and video, creating multi-layered works that address the concept of the ‘margins', those ‘leftover' spaces in the urban landscape where architecture reaches the border of human intervention.

Nabad Art Gallery presents an exhibition of works by established Jordanian painter and architect, Ammar Khammash. These recent works represent the artist's continuing venture into new territories. During the past few years, Khammash worked along numerous lines simultaneously. A rich body of paintings includes the subject of figures, which is rare for an artist established in landscape painting. The work exhibited explores the human body through the eye of a landscape artist and shares the results in watercolours, drawings, large paintings and stone sculptures.
