Born in Amman in 1968, Rajwa Ali obtained a B.A. in the History of Art and Studio Art from Goldsmith College, the University of London in 1992, after a two-year foundation course at Blackheath School of Art in London. She has executed installations and held solo exhibitions in Jordan, and has participated in a large number of group exhibitions in Jordan, Turkey, Syria, the UK, Sweden, Germany, France and Spain. Rajwa was awarded Second Prize at the Al Sharjah Graphic Biennale in the UAE in 1997. She lives and works in Amman, Jordan.
