Born in 1981, Syed Faraz Ali obtained a BFA from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi, Pakistan in 2005. He held three solo exhibitions in Pakistan between 2009 and 2011 and has participated in a large number of group shows in Pakistan, Turkey, Singapore, Dubai, the U.S.A, as well as in several countries in Europe. Faraz Ali attended a workshop at the Third Line Gallery in Dubai and has participated in START’s Artist in Residency Programme in Amman, Jordan. He has won three awards for his work in Pakistan. His works have been acquired by private collectors in India, Lithuania and the U.K.
