Khalid al-Rahhal (1926-1983)
	Mixed media 40 x 50 cm 1967 Ref. Rahhal 1	Khalid al-Rahhal (1926-83) Born Baghdad, Iraq, 1926. Diploma Sculpture, IFA, 1947; Academy of Fine Arts, Rome, 1964. Memberships: BGMA. Took part in all the national and other collective exhibitions held in Iraq and abroad. Completed several important monuments and statues in Baghdad including Al-Jundi al-Majhoul ‘The Unknown Soldier'.

Shaker Hassan Al Said (1925-2004)
	Mixed media 40 x 50 cm Ref. shaker 1	Shaker Hassan Al Said (1925-2004) Born in 1925 in Samawa, Iraq. He obtained a degree in Sociology in 1948 and a Diploma from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1952. Shaker Hassan studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris between 1955 and 1959. In cooperation with Iraqi painter Jawad Salim, he founded the Baghdad Modern Art Group in 1951. In 1971, he founded the ‘One-Dimension' Group. Shaker Hassan participated in numerous exhibitions in Iraq and abroad and is the author of numerous books on the philosophy of art.
